{Sweet Ideas by Michele} : : Chicago Children's Photographer

This is a special preview showcasing a wonderful event that took place yesterday with good friend Michele, and her business Sweet Ideas by Michele. Sweet Ideas features customized children's clothing for any occasion. It is a fantastic, wonderful, ADORABLE idea for gifts, special occasions or just for adornment on your favorite kid! (HA! Can you tell I'm a fan!?) Make sure you check out her website, or you can find her on Facebook too!

For 2010, Michele and I are going to be teaming up and heading out to a couple of Chicago's great summer festivals (stay tuned for dates and locations). So we held a photo shoot to take some fabulous images featuring her new spring designs and customer favorites!

Thank you very, VERY much to our stunning group of models - and all the parents who came to play and wrangle those models along! I know I had a wonderful time - and look forward to a long, and fruitful relationship with Sweet Ideas in the future!

{Abby + Nick} Chicago Engagement Photography

Love is in the air!! Even if spring eludes us, the spark between these two will definitely warm you up :) Abby and Nick are my very first engagment session for 2010, and despite the dreary, Chicago winter day we had an absolute blast traipsing around the Museum Campus. I am so very thrilled with the results! Thank you again for indulging me Nick (err...should I say....John?) and Abby - best of luck as you finish planning for the wedding!

{Rebecca S.} : : Chicago Maternity Photographer

I am never less than amazed at how incredibly beautiful the human body is as it provides a warm home to a child within! I was so very grateful that my dear friend Rebecca invited me to photograph her (and her lovely family) in her stunning, pregnant form. It was such an amazing session! Thank you again for coming in....I can't wait to meet baby A!

{Sally + Michael} :: Chicago Photographer

Well, this goes to show you should never say never!! I haven't ventured much into the wedding world oh photography, because it is very intimidating AND intense! I had a last minute opportunity to photograph Sally and Michael's nuptials, and even though they were full aware I wasn't a wedding photographer, Sally managed to talk me into being part of their day. The couple was stunning, the ceremony was beautiful, and they truly have an amazing family! As it turns out, it was an incredibly rewarding experience :)

Sally & Michael, thank you for the invitation, and best of luck as you begin your journey together as wife and man ;)

{December Fun!} :: Chicago Children's Photographer

Hello old friends!! I had quite a busy December with a lot of people wanting portraits for Holiday cards :) I didn't post them to ruin the surprise.....but here's a back sampling of the Holiday Fun!

{Kelly & Tim} Chicago Event Photographer

Kelly's parents held a beautiful cocktail reception in celebration of Kelly & Tim's nuptials back in October. It was held at the Park Hyatt, and it was a magnificently fun party on the Magnificent Mile! I had an amazing time photographing the event - the mood was fun and light, the food smelled amazing and the event room was sexy, chic and almost as gorgeous as the bride herself. Pat & Jim, thank you for inviting me to celebrate with your family!

{Lincoln S.} Chicago Children Photographer

You might remember sweet Lincoln from his 18 month photos just a short six months ago! Now he's an official big boy at 2 years old.

Now, you might be wondering - how much can a child change in 6 months? It might be subtle, but its amazing! They loose some of that baby chub and really start to transition more into little boys...but still totally *stealing your heart* adorable! It doesn't hurt that this little man is stylin' in his black Chucks and smooth Levi's ;) It was so wonderful to capture Lincoln again on film - thanks Mom for bringing him in!
